Matérico Engraving - The composition features a colorful fruit bowl accompanied by one of the artist's characteristic zoomorphic figures, executed in his unmistakable expressive, cheerful, Mediterranean language.
Work signed by hand by the artist in the lower right corner and numbered 8/50 in the lower left corner. Limited edition of 50 copies. Comes with the Artist's Certificate of Authenticity.
Juan García Ripollès (1932) is a painter, sculptor and engraver. Known as Ripo. He is one of the leading figures of Spanish figurative expressionism, and his painting is surrounded by nature and color. He has exhibited internationally: Amsterdam, Brussels, New York, Tokyo, Beijing, Taiwan, etc. He returned to Spain in the 1970s and since then his studio has been the garden of the Mas de Flors.
