He collaborated with important companies, including Italsider, contributing to the integration of art and industry, and created works of public art and design. His production, characterized by rigor and experimentation, earned him a leading role in Italian and international contemporary art.

Eugenio Carmi (Genova, 1920 – Lugano, Svizzera, 2016) è stato un pittore italiano, tra i maggiori esponenti dell'astrattismo del secondo dopoguerra. Dopo gli studi artistici e l'esperienza della Seconda guerra mondiale, sviluppò una ricerca basata su forme geometriche, equilibrio compositivo e armonia cromatica. Collaborò con importanti aziende, tra cui Italsider, contribuendo a integrare arte e industria, e realizzò opere di arte pubblica e design. La sua produzione, caratterizzata da rigore e sperimentazione, gli ha valso un ruolo di primo piano nell'arte contemporanea italiana e internazionale.
