XXe Siècle was an influential international art review founded in Paris in 1938 by Gualtieri di San Lazzaro. It focused on modern and avant-garde art and became known for combining critical essays with original prints created specifically for the publication. Major artists such as Picasso, Miró, Kandinsky, Chagall, and Calder contributed works, making XXe Siècle both an important record of modern art and a highly valued collector’s publication.
