The Pineider Arco Oak pen in celluloid, made in Italy from 2010 to 2020, is a single item with minor signs of wear, length 13.9 cm and diameter 1.3 cm, and the mechanism operates smoothly.
Description from the seller
The Pineider Arco Oak fountain pen is presented in a very well-kept condition, standing out especially for the liveliness and depth of its “Arco” resin, where the brown-amber veins maintain an intense shine and a very attractive three-dimensional effect. This type of material is usually particularly valued when it retains this visual richness, as is the case.
Aesthetically, the body shows no structural damage, cracks or deformations, preserving its original integrity. Only micro-scratches typical of light and respectful use can be appreciated, practically inevitable in pieces of this kind, but they do not affect its presence or its functional value at all.
The metal components with palladium-plated finish —central ring, clip and nib— are in overall good condition, preserving their shine. They may show very slight wear marks visible only upon close inspection, normal for a well-maintained second-hand piece.
The twist mechanism works correctly, offering smooth and precise action, which confirms that the piece has been properly preserved and serviced.
Overall, this is a very good-condition specimen, with an attractive aesthetic and perfectly suitable for both use and collection.
Conservation recommendations
To preserve the pen in optimal condition, it is recommended to use high-quality compatible refills, avoid drops or shocks, keep it away from excessive humidity and extreme temperatures, occasionally clean the exterior with a soft cloth, and store it in an individual case to prevent micro-scratches.
It will be shipped in a courtesy box for proper preservation.
