Description from the seller

Digital painting on transmuted photography.
The skies I depict with an almost unreal appearance are not mere aesthetic choices; they are metaphors of the state of our environment and of the consequences that human intervention has caused. Each work aims to invite reflection, to question our impact, and to imagine where we are headed if we do not recover the balance that has been lost.
This collection of works contemplates the fragile relationship between humanity and nature. Through powerful, high-contrast images, I seek to capture a world where the atmosphere seems altered, unsettled, and transmuted.

Urban scene of Downtown Manhattan, with the One World Trade Center at the center.
A novel photograph in which the mute is shown transformed and somehow inverted. The lights become shadows, the shadows become lights, the colors transform into their complementary hues, and magic arises. It is a transmuted photograph with the inverted positive that becomes what was once called negative, as with silver halide films but greatly enhanced with extensive digital painting work.
These city views are the magical result of a great amount of research and both intellectual and manual computer work. A recognizable urban landscape but totally transformed through light and color. A technique unique in the world, as far as I know.

Artworks around the world, in order of quantity of paintings and photographs:
Spain, Germany, Netherlands, USA, Italy, United Kingdom, France, Austria, Belgium, Japan, Taiwan, Switzerland, Mexico, Luxembourg, Romania, Australia, Portugal.

Seller's Story

My personal artwork. Oil paintings on black and white photographic grisaille on canvas. Dreamlike views of cities. Natural transformation of the city and the urban environment to make it more pleasant and livable. Recreated views of the city. An idealized vision of the city surrounded by nature. A panoramic vision of a reinvented city. Nature recovers the space that always belonged to it.
