Elegant table-top cigarette/cigar box in solid sterling silver (.925) made by the London silversmith Goldsmith & Silversmith Co Ltd. The lid features refined guilloché engraving and a edge worked with geometric motifs, with the letter "C" engraved in script. The interior is entirely cedar wood to ensure perfect preservation of the tobacco. The bottom is lined in black leather. The production year is indicated with the letter "C", which should indicate the year 1952, while the lion passant mark shows that the sterling silver is 925/1000 fine.
