About the work:
Vasarely's pursuit of perfection imposes an absolute standard of quality that only at that time the printing presses in Basel, Switzerland could satisfy. Thus, between 1971 and 1978, Editions du Griffon, in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, were entrusted by Victor Vasarely with the production, distribution, and dissemination of 19 albums and 12 silkscreens, gathering the breadth of his works.
This unique print is part of a special edition entitled "Ondulatoires" that was conceived and supervised by Victor Vasarely himself, and it is with the same care for quality that Editions du Griffon gave these print runs an exceptional finish in the 1970s, identifiable by the copyright on the back of the impressions.
