About the work:
Vasarely's perfectionism imposed an absolute standard of quality that, at that time, only the presses of Basel-based print shops could satisfy.
Thus, between 1971 and 1978, Editions du Griffon in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, were entrusted by Victor Vasarely with the realization, distribution, and dissemination of 19 albums and 12 screenprints that gathered the best of his works.
This unique print originates from a special edition titled "Ondulatoires" which was conceived and supervised by Victor Vasarely himself, and it is with the same commitment to quality that Editions du Griffon took exceptional care with these series of albums printed in the 1970s, identifiable by the copyright on the back of the impressions.
