This work of art is an original screenprint titled "Don't tread on me," created by American artist William Weege in 1970.
The piece was printed in Venice at the historic and prestigious Studio Fallani, during the artist's Italian sojourn for the Venice Biennale, where he directed the experimental printing workshop on behalf of the Smithsonian Institution.
Title: "Don't tread on me"
Year: 1970
Technique: Original color screenprint on heavyweight paper
Edition: Limited edition of only 150 copies (signed and numbered in pencil by the artist on the lower margin)
Printer: Studio Fallani, Venice (bears the dry stamp or the studio's printing characteristics)
