Montblanc Boheme Doué Gold Plated Rollerball in black resin with golf pattern, featuring a gold plated cap set with a black onyx gem and a Montblanc star on the cap, fully documented with original box, outer carton and service guide writing instruments.
Description from the seller
Here we present a specimen of absolute rarity and unmistakable design, destined to capture the gaze of the most demanding collectors: the Roller Montblanc Bohème Doué Gold Plated in the very special “Golf Pattern” finish. This specific declination of the Bohème line is a tribute to textures and contrasts, an accessory that steps away from the classic smooth resin canons to embrace a bold, luxurious, and sophisticated aesthetic.
The body is made of precious black resin, while the massive cap is wholly plated in warm yellow gold. Both surfaces feature the magnificent cratered motif (the so-called “Golf Pattern”), which not only creates play of light and extraordinary reflections but also offers a unique tactile experience and exceptional grip. To further embellish the gilded cap, there is the sophisticated clip that inlays a splendid Black Onyx gem with a squared cut, in perfect chromatic pendant with the dark body of the pen. On the central band sits the engraving “MONTBLANC - BOHÈME,” and on the flat, geometric, and rigorous summit stands the iconic white star. Since this is a Bohème line rollerball, the cap can be unscrewed and screw-mounted elegantly onto the rear end during use, ensuring superb balance and a perfect length in the hand.
The condition is rated as excellent. As documented by the excellent and transparent photographs, the gold plating is superb, brilliant, and free of fading or obvious defects. The black resin finish is intact, and the onyx stone is firmly set, glossy, and free of chips. The sturdy internal metal thread, visible in the photos of the disassembled piece, is pristine and houses its original refill. Elevating the commercial and collectible value of this lot is the inclusion of the “Full Set”: the pen is provided with its original Montblanc case, the outer slipcase, and the “Service Guide Writing Instruments” booklet.
