Description from the seller
This artwork has been created without the use of Artificial Intelligence.
Freedom captures that poetic and irreversible moment when the cage opens and freedom ceases to be an idea and becomes a choice.
In this carefully constructed scene,
a young woman holds an empty cage while delicate red feathers float in the air: remnants of a bird that has already taken flight. The lush vegetation surrounding the protagonist — almost jungle-like — envelops the composition in a painterly atmosphere that evokes both the classical portrait and the pre-Raphaelite sensibility.
The color palette, dominated by deep greens, golds, and crimson reds, lends the image a theatrical and symbolic presence. However, far from drama, the expression of the figure conveys calm and acceptance, as if the act of letting go did not imply loss but transformation.
With allusions to Baroque art and contemporary fashion photography, Freedom balances narrative and formal beauty in a cinematic composition that invites reflection on inner freedom, renunciation, and the capacity to let go.
