Antonio Pirozzi's Notte magica incantata 2° versione, an oil painting, original edition, 70 x 70 cm, 2 kg, 2026, depicting a nocturnal scene, signed by hand, Italy, surrealism.
Description from the seller
“Notte magica incantata 2 versione” is an original and spectacular oil painting by the Neapolitan artist Antonio Pirozzi. It is a surrealist work, better defined as magical surrealism or that of the absurd. Here indeed the reversal of logic is represented, not so much born from dreams or the subconscious, but rather from a game of fantasy, in which all connections are chosen with care to build a plot. Beautiful, fascinating, rich in bright colors that evoke magical and mysterious places, here represented by the background of the island of San Giorgio. The work measures 70 cm in height by 70 cm in width and 2 cm in thickness, and is shipped by express courier SDA of Poste Italiane or with GLS; delivery times are: for Italy 2/3 days; for abroad 5/6 days. On the back, attached to the work, is the certificate of authenticity and the artist’s professional stamp. Antonio Pirozzi, born in Giugliano in Campania near Naples, is an architect and painter. He trained among Neapolitan surrealist and metaphysical painters, among whom we mention Antonio Nunziante. The canvases crystallize dreamlike and unreal atmospheres, compositions of notable poetic quality, built on absurd combinations that seem to recall the realm of the subconscious and the arcane. He currently lives and works in Mugnano di Napoli.
