Here is an image of the original (acrylic on canvas) from 1994. In A WAR IN THE WATER, Rizzi focuses on water polo, one of the most demanding sports.
Beautiful print from the catalog RÊVES DE SPORT from 1996, created for the 100th Olympic Games (James Rizzi was an official artist of the Olympic Games). Edition unknown. Catalog is out of print.
Very good condition of the print. Newly framed with mat.

Rizzi was a 3D artist; his art is particularly popular in the USA, Switzerland, Germany, and Japan. After the artist's death, works are increasingly hard to find. He follows the great Pop Art artists like Haring, Warhol, and Lichtenstein. Similar art to Charles Fazzino.
