Sagrasse (Sandro Grassetti, born in 1966) is a Marche-based artist whose life roots in artisanal craft. For forty years he worked in the shadow of his workshop in a small municipality between the Marche hills, specializing at the highest levels in resin processing, painting, and chroming.

The turning point in his life comes with the COVID-19 pandemic: the forced lockdown and suspension of time become an emotional catalyst, pushing him to unleash the artistic urgency he had always guarded. What for decades had been "only" a technique of excellence therefore becomes the means to give life to modern, vibrant, and ironic pop sculptures. Today Sagrasse has transformed his artisanal know-how into a recognized language of contemporary art, proving that it is never too late to give voice to one’s most authentic talent.

In recent years his work has received important public and private recognitions, culminating in participation in prestigious art fairs. Notable among these are the presence at the Contemporary Art Exhibition "Arte Venezia" in 2025, the collaboration with the VERUM Center for Art and Culture, and the inclusion of his works within the renowned private collection Fuser. From craftsman to signature of the Neo-Pop scene, Sagrasse shows how a life’s experience can be transformed into pure and recognized artistic expression.

Sagrasse is not simply an artist who uses resin; he is a master craftsman who has liberated the technique from the constraint of function, putting it at the service of imagination. His works are colorful mirrors in which our society is reflected: pop, brilliant, ironic, and irresistibly modern.

Sagrasse’s work fits perfectly within the path of New Pop Art and Urban Art. While the resemblance to Banksy is evident for its strong satirical charge, irony, and ability to reinterpret everyday icons or pop culture in a critical key, Sagrasse’s universe closely dialogues with other international giants such as Jeff Koons, KAWS, Takashi Murakami, Mr. Brainwash, Richard Orlinski.

The object is an exclusive Sagrasse creation.
It is a handmade work, conceived and produced entirely in Italy. The small imperfections that may be found are the natural characteristic of entirely manual workmanship.
It is recommended not to expose to heat sources; clean only with a soft cloth, avoiding detergents.
