On the back of the case the number 352677 is still listed.
The -old- elastic bands on the inside are worn and the case itself is in well-used condition, with several dents.

Horton & Allday was a British silversmith and manufacturer of luxury metal objects from Birmingham, England. The company was founded around 1860 by Alfred George Horton and Harry Allday. After Horton's death in 1886, Harry Allday continued the business under the same name.
The company was known for high-quality sterling silver objects from the Victorian period, the Edwardian period, and the Art Deco period. They produced, among other things, perfume bottles, photo frames, dressing-table sets, cigarette cases, visiting-card cases, and other decorative silverware.
