Careful packaging and tracked shipping.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration evolved into a passion that was meant to come to fruition.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligned with the Pop Art movement, through the subversion of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity expresses itself through bold staging of icons of popular consumer culture (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), pitting them against the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot champagne or Caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes minerals.
He is inspired, among others, by Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey and advertising and addictions in general.
All potential defects or imperfections are an integral part of the work.
HAND-FINISHED « Sculpture manufactured for commercial purposes, hand-retouched by the artist XTC using acrylic paints and vinyl. »
