Artist biography
Born in Lisbon (1983), Nuno Barbedo (also known as THECAVER) is a multidisciplinary artist who began his journey with traditional illegal graffiti in 1998. The streets remain his preferred workspace; however, the artist has held solo exhibitions in galleries and public spaces around the world.
Recognizable from afar, his work can be seen as a harmonious yet complex composition of simple, colorful, and bold shapes, often with an enigmatic theme and a surreal approach.
Nuno has shown great versatility over the years, while always maintaining his unique style, showing that he is in constant evolution.
