Description from the seller
Waterman Facette Plaqué Or G – Vintage fountain pen WORKING – 18 kt 750 gold nib – Made in France
Splendid Waterman Facette original from the 1960s, an elegant fountain pen produced in France and characterized by the unmistakable faceted finish on the barrel and cap.
The gold-plated coating, stamped “Plaqué Or”, creates refined plays of light and gives the pen a slender, precious, and timeless appearance. The minimalist design, completed by the black section and the clip perfectly integrated into the cap, fully represents the elegance of Waterman’s production of the period.
The precious element is the splendid original Waterman nib in solid 18-karat gold – fineness 750, marked Waterman. The pen has been tested and is perfectly functional, as documented also by the writing sample present in the photographs.
An authentic little masterpiece of French craftsmanship, ideal both for the collector of vintage writing instruments and for those who wish to use daily an elegant and history-rich fountain pen.
The piece shows normal and light signs of time, consistent with an object dating from the 1960s.
