Pipe - Bone

Authentic opium pipe, brought back after a trip to China around 1930-1935, in perfect condition, carved bone with the following depictions: a learned sage, some floral motifs, mythical animals including dragons and others, difficult to photograph given the shape of this pipe! The black ends are made of horn, the opium-burning bowl is in silvered metal as well as its mounting to the pipe, adorned with a dragon in repoussé metal in relief! Total length 44 cm, elephant-tusk-like shape! WARNING: the display stand provided with the pipe is not original; it is a homemade fabrication to be able to display this object!
