A ceramic artist born in Hagi City, Yamaguchi Prefecture, who works under the art name Watanabe Jozan. He began his training at Jōzan-gama at the age of 18 and creates works such as matcha bowls and tea ceremony utensils that embody the traditional warmth of Hagi ware.
