WATERMAN CARÈNE DELUXE FOUNTAIN PEN (FRANCE): We present at auction one of the most elegant, fluid and dynamic designs of the French Waterman manufacture: the Carène model. Inspired by the symmetry and pure lines of luxury yachts, this pen is a true aerodynamic work of art.

This unit corresponds to the coveted "Deluxe" finish. Its body is coated in high-quality polished black lacquer, which majestically contrasts with a metallic cap decorated with a vertical striped pattern in a classic style. The set is enriched with a brilliant gold plating on the hinged clip, the central ring and the beveled butt/end cap.

The most spectacular feature of the Carène is its nib: a superb piece of 18-karat solid gold (585) embedded flush with the nib, flowing with the pen's silhouette as if it were the bow of a vessel.
