This technical drawing, rendered in a graphical style reminiscent of 1970s industrial blueprints, illustrates the three personal computers that marked the beginning of the mass information technology revolution: the Apple II, the Commodore PET 2001, and the TRS-80 Model I.
Size 70 x 50 cm, unframed.
The piece is organized like an archival document from the Design Office, dated June 1977. Through isometric drawings, exploded views of motherboards, and dimensional schematics, the work dissects the anatomy of these historic machines. Iconic details include the PET's integrated cassette drive, the TRS-80's separate keyboard design, and the Apple II's modular structure.
The finishing touch comes from the cartouche at the bottom, bearing fictional signatures (such as "R. Wayne" in homage to Apple’s third co-founder) and the approval stamps "CONFIDENTIAL," giving the work an aura of historical authenticity and retro-tech charm.
