Description: An extraordinary and very rare collectible set from the famous Montblanc Writers Edition series dedicated to Alexandre Dumas and launched on the market in 1996.

This lot is the legendary and highly sought-after variant with the "wrong signature". For a production error, Montblanc engraved on the cap the signature of the son (Alexandre Dumas fils) with the ascending flourish, instead of that of the father, the author of The Three Musketeers. The lot was withdrawn from the market almost immediately, making these pieces rare and of the highest collectible interest.

Nib: Bi-color 18kt gold nib (750) finely decorated with the French lily.
Nib Grade: Fine (F) – It still bears the original paper sticker "F / Germany" on the body, testifying that the pen has never been used or inked.

Details: Fully functional, smooth mechanism.
Design Features: Body in fine gray-blue marbled resin, gold-plated finishes and clip. The clip is embellished with a design that evokes the shape of a sword.
