Mariano biu - - Classical guitar - Spain

For sale: an authentic collectible piece from Spanish guitar making—a handmade guitar built in the 1950s by the renowned Valencian luthier Ricardo Sanchis and distributed in its time by the emblematic Mariano Biu music house in Zaragoza, preserving the historical provenance reference.

For its construction, woods of the highest quality were selected: the soundboard is German spruce (Picea) of excellent quality with a straight, tight, and regular grain, while the sides and back are African mahogany (Mahogany); this combination gives it a deep, warm sound with the unique resonance that only comes from more than 70 years of natural aging.

Due to the instrument’s age, the guitar has undergone some repairs to ensure its total stability, and a new artisanal varnish has been applied. The sides and back show some discoloration because the original tint could not be restored during restoration; this is merely an aesthetic detail that does not affect the instrument’s solidity, its structure, or the tremendous sound quality of the guitar. The instrument is structurally perfect, set up, and fully ready to play.
