This original intaglio print is the work of Spanish artist Lluís Llop, belonging to his series dedicated to books and writing elements.
The print shows a still life composed of an inkpot in the foreground, a fountain pen, books stacked in the background, and a large maul or vertical press.
Technically and formally, the work is characterized by the following:
Technique: It is an intaglio print (engraved in relief) made with combined techniques such as etching or drypoint on a metal plate, achieving a deep contrast with cross-hatched textures.
