1/1 PAINTING ON CANVAS
Acrylic on canvas measuring 140 x 100 cm. The author, Coltivi Idea (Carolina Livio), drew inspiration from the chromatic harmony of the different shades and types of color to convey a sense of serenity and relief, in one of his most interesting minimalist-geometric works. The canvas fits into any setting, modern or historic, giving the room a pleasing sense of regularity that alternates with the dynamism of vibrant colors. Created at the Coltivi Idea studio, located among the hills of Vicenza, the technique used is acrylic on canvas.
Carolina Livio, illustrator and comics artist, was born in Cantù on August 9, 1990. After completing her academic studies at the Scuola del Fumetto in Milan, she devoted herself wholeheartedly to her greatest passion, drawing.
Her field experience began in 2012, thanks to collaboration with Mondadori, where Carolina contributed to the Geronimo Stilton series, particularly Storie da Ridere, i Grandi Classici and the Tea Sisters. Thus began in Milan her career as a cartoonist and illustrator, which later developed through collaborations with Disney, working on classic characters such as Mickey Mouse, Minnie, Donald Duck and Daisy, and continuing with various kinds of different projects!
Alongside her work as an illustrator, Carolina creates acrylic on canvas works, especially enjoying large-scale paintings. The works are created on commission or dictated by inspiration and the moment's needs.
