An Italian writing instrument inspired by artist Amedeo Modigliani.
The clip is one of his characteristic elongated sculpture heads.
That design was used by several Italian pen manufacturers in the 1980s-1990s.
Black resin finish.
Large artistic clip in the shape of a Modigliani head.
18-karat gold nib (18K-750).
On the nib it says VFL 18K-750 B.
Cartridge/converter filling system.
Many Italian luxury pens from that period used 18K nibs sourced from specialized nib manufacturers.
As a result, VFL often says more about the nib maker than about the pen brand itself.
