ARTIS Art Gallery: The renewal of artistic authenticity
In a world where art has too often become a mass-market product, where name supersedes talent and industrial production replaces the hand of the artist, ARTIS Art Gallery commits to selling only works that meet absolute standards of excellence.
Our mission is simple yet radical: to restore the noble status to the act of authentic creation.
Our commitment: genuine art, with brave and, above all, hardworking artists.
We travel across Asia in search of real talents, artists whose work cannot be reduced to a commercial strategy. For us, a work of art is not a standardized commodity. At ARTIS Art Gallery, every piece we offer meets strict criteria:
100% Handcrafted: Each work results from meticulous artisanal labor, where the artist’s hand is the sole driving force of creation.
Uniqueness guaranteed: We reject industrial reproduction, outsourcing, and factory-style production systems. What you acquire is a one‑of‑a‑kind piece, conceived and realized by the artist themselves.
The signature as a pledge: every work is personally signed by its creator. This signature is not merely a formality; it is the seal of authenticity and proof that the artist fully stands behind their work, from the initial sketch to the finish. We reject printed signatures on a board; only hand-signed signatures by the artist are accepted, otherwise we refuse the works.
Against “Art Marketing”
We firmly oppose the current trend of selling “names” rather than works. Purchasing a “decorative” piece produced in series, with no real intervention by the artist, is like buying a fashion accessory: its value fades as soon as marketing wanes.
We prefer to invest in the intrinsic quality of the craft. An artist who takes time to create, who shapes every detail and pours their soul into their work, is the one who leaves a lasting mark. While we cannot predict the future, we deeply believe that these authentic works are the only investments that, over time, deepen in meaning, emotion, and value, where purely promotional products fade away.
Why choose a work from ARTIS Art Gallery?
By choosing a work from us, you do not merely acquire a piece of art. You support:
1. Emerging talent: You enable talented artists to make a living from their art without compromising their integrity.
2. Ethics and transparency: you know exactly who made your work and how it was realized. A true guarantee of acquiring a piece created by the artist themselves and not some vulgar outsourcing, under the pretense that the artist is already renowned in the art world.
3. Enduring investment: You invest in artistic reality rather than marketing illusion.
4. Ethics and transparency: you know exactly who made your work and how it was realized. A genuine guarantee of acquiring a piece created by the artist themselves, and not a vulgar outsourcing, is the bridge between those who seek truth in art and those who create it with passion, patience and talent.

Artist biography: Painter Nguyen Robert, born 1958.
Born in 1958 in Ben Tre, an authentic village nestled in the heart of the Mekong Delta, Nguyen Robert is a Franco-Vietnamese artist whose work is notable for a unique fusion of Asian traditions and Western artistic influences. From a young age, he was fascinated by the rural architecture of his surroundings, the lines of traditional houses, the volumes of floating markets, the shadows cast by water palms — all elements that would become the foundation of his visual language.
Having always been based in his native region, Nguyen Robert over the decades developed a deeply contemporary, modern, and architecturally oriented style. His paintings explore structures, lines, urban rhythms, and geometric abstraction, while preserving a poetic sensibility rooted in Vietnamese culture.
His dual Franco-Vietnamese heritage enriches his approach: he borrows from the West the rigor of modern compositions and the boldness of contrasts, while his Vietnamese soul injects softness, spirituality, and fluidity into his works. The result is a visual universe where modernity meets the timeless, where geometry dialogues with light, creating paintings of considerable visual power.
Renowned for his ability to transform everyday life into abstract landscapes, Nguyen Robert is now considered one of the singular voices in the delta of the Mekong’s contemporary painting. He continues his work in his workshop in Ben Tre, surrounded by the landscapes that shaped his identity, and continues to exhibit in several galleries across Asia and Europe, captivating collectors and art lovers seeking deeply modern, structured, and vibrant works.
