A Japanese iron tsuba of irregular form with copper-alloy inlay decoration. Approximate dimensions are 8.26 × 7.07 cm, thickness approximately 0.48 cm, and weight approximately 112 g.

The piece shows age-related wear, rubbing, dirt, and oxidation consistent with age and use. Please examine the photographs carefully, as they form part of the description.

A modern-made paulownia storage box is included. The box is not original to the tsuba.
