Description from the seller
"His Chair" is part of the series: "Het Hondenkabinet". It is a print on high-quality Hahnemühle Baryta and is mounted on PVC, framed in an antique frame. The size of the photo is 40x50 cm and it is the first edition of 25 copies.
Het Hondenkabinet arose from a daily observation: in the park where the photographer lives, dogs are walked day in and day out. Ursula became fascinated by the people behind the leashes and invited dog owners with their pets into her studio. For some, a dog is a child, a full-fledged family member—almost human. That is exactly how they were photographed: with dignity, character and a touch of theatrical grandeur.
The series received attention from local press and in LINDA Magazine. Ursula’s studio is located in a monumental building on the IJssel in the Hanseatic city of Kampen.
