"Coke Jelly" is a still life created in the studio of photographer Ursula van de Bunte and is part of the Jelly's series. The photographer makes these gelatin puddings herself and unexpectedly inserts attributes into them. In this Jelly there are a number of Coca-Cola bottles that exploded into the pudding during the process. Very fascinating and beautiful to see. It is a print on high-quality Canson Fibre Rag and is mounted on aluminum. The size is 28x28 cm.
The photographer works with the latest Hasselblad equipment and creates her photography from a studio located in a monumental building in the Hanseatic city of Kampen. Her work is presented in museums, galleries, and at art fairs.

Passionate, sensitive and with an eye for detail, light and color, would be a nice description of Ursula's approach. She is perfectionistic, enthusiastic and diligent; she will only be satisfied when the well-known WOW factor has been achieved.
With her artworks she aims to bring her subjects forward in the purest possible way. Ursula transforms objects into powerful still lifes and the portraits are a reflection of a bygone era, where from time to time a splash of modern life is incorporated.
Her work is unconventional and the use of light leans toward her sources of inspiration: the paintings of Jacques-Louis David, Rembrandt and Caravaggio.
As a photographer Ursula also seeks to distinguish herself through diversity in her work, and beside individual creations she makes series, where multiple images tell one story. She is notably discovered with her intriguing, still lifes: the series Plastic Vegetables and the series House-4-Sale. These works have been awarded with various prizes, among them for the series “de 100 van Rooyackers.”
