Photographic Pop Art work that transforms some of the most famous pop culture icons into an ironic, irreverent, and surprisingly human scene. The protagonists are photographed from behind, distant from the epic grandeur that made them legendary, giving life to an image capable of humorously overturning the very concept of heroism.

Through the contrast between symbols of the collective imagination and a deliberately desecrating situation, the work invites the viewer to smile and to look at contemporary myths from a completely new perspective. The result is an original composition with a strong visual impact, combining irony, pop culture, and creative photography.

“Le Perle di Ské” is a family of self-taught artists specializing in the creative upcycling of objects and materials, which are given a new life through works inspired by contemporary culture, cinema, and Pop Art. Each creation is born in their studio in Naples and is today collected throughout Europe.
