London in the 1960s, the golden age of the British capital.
A model in front of a passing red double-decker bus.
A slow shutter trigger is enough to make this shot one of the photographer's most famous.
Color prepress print on RC (Resin Coated) satin.
Medium resolution, archive digital print. Later print.
Format: 25.5 x 20.3 cm, with margins.
In very good condition.
Labels and annotations on the back.
Presented on a 30 x 24 cm passe-partout card.

Norman Parkinson is an English fashion and portrait photographer.
His long career began in the 1930s and lasted more than five decades.
He is mainly famous for his collaborations with the British and American editions of Vogue and for his almost exclusively outdoor shoots.
He would appear on the magazine's cover three times in its American edition, including in 1949 with his third wife Wenda.
Alongside his work as a photographer, he was deeply attached to agriculture throughout his life.

He belongs, alongside Cecil Beaton and Bill Brandt, to the group of the rare British fashion photographers who truly had international influence.
