• With his wife, journalist Micheline Vialle, he founded the Ribière Presse Photos agency, whose reports are published in numerous French and international media, such as Paris Match, L'Express, Keystone and the BBC.
• His work covers post-war France, daily life, regional traditions, sporting events and judicial reporting.
• He also served as vice-president of the National Association of Photojournalists and Cinematographers (ANJRPC) and was involved in defending photographers' copyright.
