Description from the seller

This book showcases the work of Baron Wolman, the first photographer for the legendary American magazine Rolling Stone. His photos from the late sixties and early seventies are among the most iconic images in the history of rock music. In addition to an extensive selection of classic photos, Wolman speaks from personal experience about the early days of Rolling Stone and his encounters with the greatest rock stars of the time.

After leaving Rolling Stone in 1970, Wolman also photographed writers, actors and athletes. He was also a licensed pilot and published two books with aerial photography. His work is still exhibited internationally.
