Blinds & Shutters is regarded as a cult classic and a milestone in the history of music books. This monumental edition is a tribute to photographer Michael Cooper, known for his iconic photographs of the rock scene from the 1960s and early 1970s and his close association with The Beatles and The Rolling Stones.
The book includes an introduction by Terry Southern, forewords by Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, and was assembled at the initiative of Bill Wyman, who personally signed every copy. The first British edition appeared in a limited edition of 5,000 copies, with each book also signed by a rotating selection of other involved parties. The special edition, with a handmade serigraphy cassette featuring a sliding panel that reveals a unique photograph, makes this edition one of the most coveted rock photography books ever.
