Description from the seller
A0000003554
The piece is presented in very good overall condition, notable for its elegant finish in gold metal with a deep and uniform shine, reflecting proper care over time. The body and cap maintain an excellent aesthetic presence, with micro signs of use visible only upon close inspection and certain light reflections, typical of light and respectful use.
The clip preserves its structural firmness and correct alignment, without deformations, maintaining its optimal functionality. The band engravings are crisp and well defined, indicating careful preservation without significant wear on the inscriptions.
The nib, in 14-karat gold (14K), is in very good condition, with no visible deformations in the tines. It shows light signs of use consistent with writing, not affecting its performance. The feed appears clean and properly aligned, ensuring adequate ink flow. The pen has been serviced and is delivered in proper working order, ready for use.
The filling system operates smoothly, showing precise action with no play, which reinforces the good mechanical condition of the assembly.
A light patina and minimal pinpoint marks are evident on the gold finish, especially in areas of habitual contact, which do not detract from its overall aesthetics and rather add character to the piece.
As there is no original box, it will be shipped in a courtesy box for proper protection. Happy bidding!
Maintenance recommendations
To keep the pen in optimal condition, it is recommended to use high-quality inks specifically for fountain pens, avoid pigmented inks, clean with lukewarm water if not used for a while, dry completely before storage, store in a dry place away from direct light and extreme temperatures, and operate the filling system gently.
