Description from the seller
Sculpture Veuve Clicquot II like a milk brick!
Instagram: XTC.Artist
Commercially produced plastic sculpture customized, hand-finished by the Artist XTC using acrylic paints and varnishes as well as vinyl. The edition number applies to the finish painted by the artist and not to the base object
The glass is not included ;) (non-standard object, cannot be used for drinking!)
Numbered out of 30 and signed underneath, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
The shipped piece is not necessarily the one in the photo but will be similar and unique!
Careful packaging and tracked shipping.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual pursuit has evolved into a passion that was to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement through the subversion of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity is expressed through bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes clash with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot champagne or caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes minerals.
He draws inspiration, among others, from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey and advertising and addictions in general.
All defects or imperfections are an integral part of the work.
HAND-FINISHED “Sculpture produced for commercial purposes, hand-retouched by the artist XTC using acrylic paints and vinyl.”
