Commercially made aluminum sculpture (extinguisher) customized and hand-finished by the Artist XTC using acrylic paints and varnishes. The edition number applies to the artist-painted finish and not to the base object, the extinguisher.
Only painted, no stickers for a uniform result and better durability over time.

Numbered out of 30 and signed on the bottom, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.

Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual exploration grew into a passion that was destined to be realized.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught visual artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement, through the subversion of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity is expressed through bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), which he makes collide with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot Champagne, or caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes minerals.
Among others, he draws inspiration from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, and advertising and addictions in general.
All defects or imperfections are an integral part of the work: it is a hollow (gas) extinguisher recovered from recycling that may show appearance imperfections through the paint. (Obviously, it is forbidden to sell a full extinguisher whose standards labels or pull pin are missing.)
