Description from the seller
Sculpture Veuve Cliquot orange (Sculpture Coeur Cliquot orange)
Instagram : XTC.Artist
Ceramic molded sculpture and hand-painted by the artist XTC using ceramic, acrylic paints and varnishes, and vinyl. The edition number applies to the sculpture fully painted by the artist and not to the metal plinth.
Provided with its black plinth that forms an integral part of the piece.
Numbered up to 20 and signed on the back, Certificate of Authenticity (COA) provided.
Careful packaging and tracked shipping.
Born in 1978 in the heart of France, XTC has shaped his artistic universe through his interest in Design, Pop Art, and more recently Street Art. This visual research has become a passion that needed to come to fruition.
XTC defines himself as a self-taught plastic artist, aligning with the Pop Art movement, through the subversion of contemporary consumer goods.
His creativity expresses itself through the bold staging of icons of popular consumption (such as McDonald’s, Malabar, Chupa), letting them collide with the world of luxury (including Chanel, Hermes, Veuve Clicquot champagne, and Caviar) and Street Art, further blurring the already tenuous boundaries between these worlds.
He expresses his art through sculpture, blending painting with all kinds of resins, plastics, and sometimes mineral materials.
He draws inspiration, among others, from Banksy, Keith Haring, Orlinski, Andy Warhol, Obey, and advertising and addictions in general.
All defects or imperfections, if any, are an integral part of the artwork.
