With ROLL’ART, SKE inaugurates a new series of contemporary sculptures built around a simple and strong principle: the wrapped object as a fragment of memory, as a pop relic, as a symbol compressed into a sculptural form.

The series is not limited to banknotes. Each model will explore a different theme: nostalgia, pop culture, icons, luxury, history, cult objects or popular references. Here, this first variation pays tribute to one of the most mythical banknotes of the old French currency: the 100 francs Delacroix note.

Having disappeared from circulation, this banknote remains etched in the collective imagination. Its warm colors, vintage graphic design, and the presence of Liberty Leading the People make it much more than a simple old means of payment: it is a piece of French history, a pocket memory, a symbol of a time when money still possessed a tangible feel, a smell, a sound, a presence.

By choosing to transform it into a wrapped sculpture, secured by a rough rope, SKE gives it a new life. The banknote is no longer merely viewed as an old image: it becomes a work of art, a capsule of nostalgia, a collectible piece at the intersection of popular memory, French heritage, and contemporary détournement.

This piece is made from 3 mm polymer material and measures about 17 cm in height and 8 cm in diameter. Each edition is hand-built, which makes every piece slightly different, with its own curves, tensions, irregularities, and details. Even in a limited edition, each sculpture retains the character of a singular work.

This model is produced in a limited series of 30 pieces, signed, numbered, and accompanied by its certificate of authenticity.

Artist Bio:
SKE is a self-taught French artist and a versatile creator who grew up immersed in the culture of the 80s/90s, influencing the majority of his artistic works.

He continually explores new techniques: acrylic painting, collage, stencil, graffiti, urban installations, and digital art. His dynamic, expressive compositions, often with double meanings, merge the raw energy of street art with the visual impact of pop art.

After an exceptional 2025, SKE’s market value has seen a notable rise. A winner of the first prize in Urban Master (2023) and later named Revelation of the Year at the Color Jam Challenge (2025), voted “Artist of the Month” by Opulence Gallery in October, he also received American art magazine coverage confirming his international recognition.

His works have already been exhibited in major venues across Europe, the United States, and Asia, cementing his place in the contemporary art scene. At the same time, SKE has also established himself in the digital art market, a major trend of the past two years, enhancing the appeal of his creations to collectors.

A UNIVERSE BETWEEN HERITAGE AND MODERNITY SKE’s work is part of a prestigious lineage. His line carries the visual efficiency of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol, while integrating the subversiveness of Banksy or the pioneer Blek le Rat. His works create a bridge between eras: they revisit the classics, not hesitating to détourne Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, Vermeer’s Young Girl, Hokusai’s The Great Wave, or Picasso’s deconstructed forms to pair them with a modern urban aesthetic close to Mr Brainwash or Kaws.

LUXURY, HYPE & CONSUMER SOCIETY In a style sometimes reminiscent of Alec Monopoly, the artist plays with codes of success and materialism. The Dollar symbol sits beside luxury and fashion logos. His canvases capture the “Hype” aesthetic: you encounter the world of sneakers (Nike Air Jordan, Adidas, Off-White) and haute couture (Louis Vuitton, Hermès, Louboutin). He also incorporates automotive adrenaline (Ferrari, Porsche, Bugatti, AMG) and precision watchmaking (Rolex, Tag Heuer), not to mention mass consumer icons like Coca-Cola. It’s a vibrant art with textures that sometimes evoke the glazed finish of Jeff Koons or the facets of a Richard Orlinski.
