Corné Akkers is a Dutch artist whose work revolves around the interaction between light, shadow and human anatomy.
Corné Akkers is the pioneer of Rondism.
Where traditional Cubism uses sharp, angular facets, he instead uses flowing, rounded forms and curved geometry to capture the essence of a figure.
His unique language of form combines the structural logic of Georges Braque with the dynamic lines of Art Deco master Tamara de Lempicka.
Never framed and kept in a dark archival storage among protective acid-free paper.
