Up for auction is a splendid and exceptional example of a Castello Pipe, Trade Mark model (KKKK), dated 2015 (Castello year stamp verifiable on the shank).
This piece stands out for a gorgeous, smooth, light natural finish, today virtually impossible to find on the market due to the rarity of briar slabs so free from imperfections as not to require dark coloration or contrasts. The flame texture is regular and highlights the craftsmanship of the Cantù manufactory.
The pipe is in a classic straight Billiard shape, with generous and balanced proportions. The shank bears the exclusive R5 marking, confirming its provenance from the historic and elegant Francesco Rosso shop in Padua, synonymous with excellence and rigorous selection of pieces.
Conditions:
Splendid NOS (New Old Stock) condition. The pipe is completely new, never smoked, never loaded. The black acrylic mouthpiece is flawless, free of any mark or oxidation.
