Description from the seller
Folder, Ed. Mercato del sale, rare editions Milan, 1987 by Walter Valentini, etching on Colombe paper - Moulin de Larroque. Printer Sardella Milan.
Walter Valentini (Pergola, October 22, 1928 – Milan, May 20, 2022) was an Italian painter, sculptor and etcher, internationally recognized in the field of graphics and engraving.
As with the plates, the graphic works are not smooth surfaces: with a refined dry-engraving technique, Valentini presses the paper so that the drawing remains raised relative to the plane. The subjects of these engravings are the same as those of the plates; only the technique varies: it ranges from aquatint to etching to drypoint.
