Description from the seller
Here we present an extremely rare specimen with an unmistakable design, destined to catch the eyes of the most discerning collectors: the Roller Montblanc Bohême Doué Gold Plated in the very distinctive "Golf Pattern" finish. This specific incarnation of the Bohème line is a celebration of textures and contrasts, an accessory that steps beyond the classic smooth resin into a bold, luxurious, and sophisticated aesthetic.
The body is made of fine black resin, while the solid cap is entirely plated in warm yellow gold. Both surfaces feature the magnificent dimpled pattern (the so-called "Golf Pattern"), which not only creates striking play of light and reflections but also offers a unique tactile experience and exceptional grip. To further embellish the golden cap, there is the sophisticated clip that houses a stunning Black Onyx gem cut in a square shape, in perfect color harmony with the dark body of the pen. On the central ring rests the engraving "MONTBLANC - BOHÈME", and on the flat, geometric, and rigorous summit stands the iconic white star. As this is a Bohème rollerball, the cap can be unscrewed and re-screwed elegantly onto the rear end during use, ensuring superb balance and a perfect length in the hand.
The condition is judged to be excellent. As documented by the excellent and clear photographs, the gold plating is superb, brilliant, and free of fading or obvious defects. The worked black resin is also intact, and the onyx stone is firmly set, polished, and free of chips. The sturdy internal metal threading, visible in the photos of the piece disassembled, is pristine and houses its original refill. Further enhancing the commercial and collectible value of this lot is the presence of the full set: the pen is provided with its original Montblanc case, the outer outer sleeve, and the "Service Guide Writing Instruments" booklet."
