Storage trunk - Oak - Poretti 1912 beer

Coffee table with wheels, carved from an antique bottle-storage chest, Birra Poretti Varese, in solid oak wood. A rare item, dating back to 1912 as evidenced by the logo "segheria Casalpusterlengo 1912" placed on one side. The chest bears the Jugendstil logos typical of the era. Probably the chest originally had a recessed bottom to accommodate the bottles. All original, except for a rope handle. The object has been restored, cleaned, and finished with straw-colored oil. The metal parts were touched up with ovatrol. There are signs of woodworm, dating from before the anti-woodworm treatment carried out recently. Currently there are no woodworms. Structurally the chest is solid and usable. It can be closed with a padlock (not included). The wheels are swivel, it moves easily. shipping is with the wheels disassembled.
