Imari porcelain Japanese plate, dating from the late 19th century,
Traditional hand-painted floral design with festooned borders.

Japanese porcelain of Imari style, characterized by the use of cobalt blue, iron red and white.
The center features a bouquet of flowers, surrounded by panels alternating floral and geometric motifs.
The edge is scalloped (shell-shaped) and the dominant colors are saffron red and cobalt blue.
On the back, the unglazed surface reveals the white raw paste, indicating the object's age.
