Montblanc - No reserve price - Ballpoint pen

A vintage Montblanc from a vanished era: Meisterstück Classique 164 ballpoint pen retaining its original “Made in W.-Germany” factory sticker, accompanied by its period Montblanc presentation box and booklet.

The Meisterstück 164 is one of Montblanc’s most recognisable writing instruments, combining its elegant cigar-shaped silhouette with glossy black resin, gold-plated details and the iconic white Montblanc emblem.

This example dates from the West Germany period, prior to German reunification, probably the mid-to-late 1980s. Particularly appealing is the surviving gold factory sticker on the barrel, a detail often removed when these pens entered regular use.

Condition:

The pen is in attractive vintage condition, retaining a deep glossy finish. Light surface marks and micro-scratches consistent with age and previous handling may be visible under close inspection. The gold-coloured details remain bright, the cap emblem is well preserved and the original factory sticker remains attached.

The installed refill has not been recently replaced and may require replacement due to its age. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form an integral part of the condition description.
