Collection of 9 antique French tobacco pipes from the Jura, dating from the first half to the middle of the 20th century.
The set comes from an old stock and the pipes have never been smoked.
The bowls show no cake buildup from use and retain their original appearance.
The lot comprises 9 complete pipes featuring several shapes and finishes:
- smooth briar models
- rusticated briar models
- pipes with round bowls
- model with a faceted bowl
- various shades of brown, red and black
Several antique markings are visible. Notably:
- « La Bruyère Garantie »
- « HÊTRE »
The label « La Bruyère Garantie » corresponds to a traditional indication of material/quality and is not presented as a manufacturer's brand.
Several other pipes do not bear any clearly identifiable mark.
