Old collection of briar pipes' bodies and bowls, coming mainly from the Jura / France and dating from the first half and middle of the 20th century.
The lot comprises a total of 13 items:
- 12 briar pipe bowls / bodies
- 1 pipe / mouthpiece separated, amber colored
The pipes show an interesting variety of shapes and finishes: smooth briar, rustic finish, round, cylindrical and faceted shapes. Several old marks are still visible.
Among them:
- a pipe marked “New Bond”
- a pipe bearing the label “Bruyère Fine”
- several other partial or difficult-to-identify marks
Some pieces also feature rings or metal elements.
